Battery life??

Hello. I have two batteries wnich are respectively @ 2000 mAh and 7000 mAh 12V DC @ 12V DC ….. How much long will each last if I want to be a mini-DVR and covert CCTV camera with them …. DVR Card – DC 5V + – 10%, camera Sheet 1A – 12 V DC, 100 mA Many thanks to the camera left in a busy construction site with motion detection set in the DVR, which means that the camera will work without stop, the DVR – only if there is a movement …. the level of movement is at Level 3 of 5 possible at level 5 is motion activated DVR tinest No problem that the camera requires 5 V and I am feeding 12V, because I tried already and the camera and DVR are working very well without any problem. but my question is still unanswered …. I need to know how long the battery if both DVR and the camera turns on it. TY

If the specifications are accurate, the 7000 mAh will last more than 3 times longer than the 2000 mAh battery. Now, assuming that the specs are right for the camera and the battery is fully charges … 2000 mAh / 100 mAh = 20 hours to feed the camera. 7000 mAh / 100 mAh = 70 hours for the power of the camera. The DVR uses 5 volts, you need a different voltage batteries to power the DVR. This will require a converter or regulator. But because the camera does an amp full, your Battery life will be considerably less – probably about seven hours for 7000 mAh, if that (there will be some losses in the converter heat, etc..) You will have to find a step down the device (12V to 5V) on their own.
