Whither Wal-Mart dome camera pointing?

I do not want anyone to steal from Wal-Mart so I wondered if the cameras at their fair like a balloon and dyeing Walmart. can catch people really steal it? I tried to look for some videos on YouTube. Are any of the cameras false?
